tino, the network pretty much caters to ratings. I've watched fencing, wrestling, dressage, tennis, handball, boxing, basketball, some judo and many others on NBCSN, Bravo, MSNBC, CNBC. Compared to years ago the coverage has been significant

Unfortunately, we get very few channels on the TV. That's not a problem normally because we watch very little TV. I tried unsuccessfully to follow events online. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems you have to pay for online events or get on of the channels you listed.

As far as ratings, I find it hard to believe that beach volley ball generates high ratings. Conventional volleyball is great. Beach volleyball...men's or women's...just sucks ass. It's a phony bastardization of the real sport that got popular largely because of the skimpy bikinis the women wear.

To add insult to injury, Kerri Walsh has become an absolute dog. I really want to see her weird body in a fuckin' bikini. If she had any sense of decency she'd get some implants pasted on that boy chest of hers.

I'm at least half serious here!

OK. We get to see a little Track and Field. Bolt wins the 100 and they run a couple men's 400 semis...and were back to fuckin' gymnastics. This time the men...and the gayest of all men's events....yhe floor exercise. Gimme a break here. I know that just about every male gymnast belongs to a cigar club, but the Floor Exercise? Really?

Yea, understand tino. However, I do think beach volleyballl generates ratings, why I'm not sure. Especially since there are far better looking women than Misty May and Kerri Walsh but they are the most featured.
I am fortunate to get those channels with the basic package. Also I have been fortunate that there is better coverage this year since I fell off a ladder on 7/7 and broke my heel into four pieces and blew up my ankle. Being stuck in a recliner for 12 weeks and then off my feet for six more is driving me nuts. Lots of reading and lots of surfing but I am seeing more Olympics than I ever have.
