        Yeah because Trotter is great in coverage. He can go one-on-one with any wide reciever in the league.

        I always blamed that game on the fact that the Eagles got their asses kicked. But that's just me, I guess.

          No denying the premise about some backups being better than the starters. No denying that "everybody and his brother knew he[Trotter] was a better player than Simy". But factually, Trotter himself and JJ also said that it took Trotter about 8 games to come back up to speed with what JJ wanted. There had been some changes and he had some things to improve on as well.

          I guess I am the only one here who's abiding memory of that NFCCG is watching Dawkins and Taylor flail and fail helplessly in the endzone as they gave away a TD.
