Scanning the web, I noticed that Colts DE Moala will miss the season with a torn ACL (?). If I recall, the Colts play a 4-3? I understand that it takes two teams to make a deal, so even if the Eagles wanted to, the Colts would have to offer too. That said, what would be fair compensation? Would Grigson's history with the Eagles organization make such a deal more plausible?

Hypothetical Trade Graham Question

I really wanted the trade with Miami to work out. Dion Jordan for Graham and a second would be fantastic. They were supposedly close to making that deal work but now the fins want to see how he looks this year before they make a trade. If he still struggles in camp I could see the Eagles trying to reignite that discussion in late summer or early fall.Official Driver of the Eagles Bandwagon!!!

I could be wrong, but I don't think they are looking to trade Graham. He was completely lost last season, but he's got his weight down and has had time to get comfortable with his position. If a deal for Jordan were to become available, they'd probably look at that, but outside of that, I think they are going to give him one last shot to establish himself. They've got a lot invested in him.

Other than dealing for Jordan, ( and even that has been speculation IMO) I don't think Graham is going anywhere. They aren't going to get value for him, so his value is to be a key piece of the defensive rotation. He has lost too much weight to go somewhere and be an effective DE and his OLB body of work is too small for anyone to be interested. We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I'd trade him now for Jordan but other than him, I think I'd wait and see what he looks like in camp before shipping him off. It looks like he made a commitment to improve himself and lost the weight he needed in the off season to be successful in this scheme. I think the Eagles owe him a chance since he made the commitment to them. I like the attitude and the fact that he is obviously buying in and working to make the defense better.Official Driver of the Eagles Bandwagon!!!
