  • Kendricks moving better, but LBs are a mess

A positive sign for the Eagles on the NovaCare fields Tuesday, as Mychal Kendricks exchanged his baseball cap for a helmet and took part in the portion of practice open to the media.

Kendricks has been sidelined for the past three games after suffering a calf strain against the Colts in Week 2. While he has done some conditioning work with the team over the past week or so, this is the first time he has practiced since the injury. No one has said definitively that he will play against the Giants Sunday night. Pat Shurmur said he remains as day-to-day.

The Eagles could certainly use him, especially with DeMeco Ryans’ status in doubt. Ryans suffered a groin strain against the Rams and did not participate in practice Tuesday. If neither can go, the likely starters inside would be Casey Matthews and Emmanuel Acho.

Chris Polk missed practice with a hamstring injury.

If Ryan and Kendricks are BOTH out-- I see this game as a lopsided NY win.
