  • Ex-Eagle Mike Caldwell Tabbed As Asst. Head Coach with Jets

    Per Rotoworld.

Jets hired Mike Caldwell as Assistant Head Coach.
Caldwell is following Todd Bowles to New York. The assistant head coach title is one that's rarely used in the NFL. Caldwell's biggest impact will be on the defensive side after serving as Arizona's LB coach the last two years. Kacy Rodgers is expected to be the Jets' defensive coordinator. Jan 17 - 3:39 PM

If I recall correctly, he was an intern coach with Reid for a few years along with Zordich. Anyway, Reid subsequently hired him to his staff. I guess that Bowles was impressed enough with him in their time together in Philly.

He was always a smart LB...good for him
