I don't know about mm but I can tell you what I have planned.
- Burgers with bluecheese stuffing (place a small amount inside the burger before cooking. It melts and saturates the burger from the inside. Top with more bluecheese, lettuce, tomato and beer braised onions. Add in an ice cold Blue Moon beer and parmesan & garlic fries and you have something special!
- Also on the menu is my famous Maple-Bourbon glazed chicken. This one is so easy even Fresh can make it! If you can boil water and grill chicken you have the skills to make this one and it's damned good! (I actually started this for pork but I like even more on chicken.) Dump 3/4 of a cup of orange juice into a sauce pan, add 1/4 cup of pure maple syrup (NOT Aunt Jamima - get the real thing!!), 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 oz of GOOD quality bourbon (I like Bulleit). After adding 1 oz of the bourbon to the sauce pan, add 2 oz. of bourbon to the cook, follow that by adding 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard into the sauce pan. Bring to a slow boil and allow to simmer for 20 minutes or so. Meanwhile season chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder and place on the grill. Bast the chicken with the glaze for the last 10 minutes of cooking time. Drizzle more of the sauce on the chicken when serving. This is really good with grilled veggies seasoned with Herbs de Provence. (For you do-it-yourself guys you can use salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, garlic, rosemary and parsley). Wash it all down with an ice cold lager (I'm partial to Harp.)
- For a little seafood appetizer I'll crank out my Sriracha Calamari. This one has to be fried (or it can be baked for health conscious types). Bread a pound of calamari with panko bread crumbs, salt, pepper, parsley and lemon. Fry in a hot pan until golden brown. For the sriracha-mayo mix 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce with 3 tablespoons of mayo, 1 teaspoon of lime juice (you can use lemon if you don't have a lime) and 1/4 teaspoon of soy sauce. Mix it together well and spoon onto a plate. Add calamari then drizzle remaining sauce over top and hit with some fresh parsley.
There you have it boys. Calamari on the deck over looking the bay. Burgers and chicken with ice cold beer. Sun, family and food. Sounds like a perfect Memorial Day!!Official Driver of the Eagles Bandwagon!!!

Jukin,
That sounds VERY appetizing! We had just finished dinner before I read your post and now I'm ready to eat again.
Helpful reminder: You're so busy planning your menu you forgot to: 1) give directions to your place and 2) tell us what time to arrive.

Yes I am at the cabin. Just the wife, our Jack Russell and myself for 3 days. I am actually going ol' school and just grilling Delmonico steaks . Sear them on high heat, melt a pat of butter on the upside and salt and pepper. I am making an aluminum foil pouch filled with garlic(minced) , broccoli, asparagus, parsnips, red potato chunks, sugar peas and a heart healthy 1/2 stick of butter. Crab stuffed mushrooms was just added to the menu by the wife.
We are both on a diet program since mid January and she has dropped 35 pounds and I have just hit the 48 lb mark. To make sure we don't hate it too much, we have occasions where we eat a bit unhealthy. I have a few (maybe more) beers on the weekend too. We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. Is it the Chesapeake Bay you'll be 'overlooking' then? Nice!
My older bother has a place down in the Solomons. Soft shell crab...MMmmmmmm!
Enjoy you holiday!

Yep! Looking at Assateague Island across the bay. We're right on the MD-VA state line about 30 mins south of Ocean City. I'm trying to talk my wife into buying a lot here so we can retire on the water in 20 years. It'll take that long to save enough to build a small house, but at least we'll have the lot on the water. So far it's a tough sell.....Official Driver of the Eagles Bandwagon!!!

I've gotten some great tips from you guys over the years. In fact, I took a picture of Vin's steak chart that I consult on my iPhone every time that I grill them. Thanks to MM, I bought a veggie basket and just finished some terrific marinated grilled veggies. But for country style ribs nothing beats good 'ol salt and pepper with a little garlic in my book!"Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

Popper,
Can you post it or point us to it if it's still available on this board?
