Good pick, Rosso. I could join you in following the Jags. Local team for me and I'm a big Bortles fan.

The birds spent a lot of years at the bottom of the league but that changed in 99 or so and was lauded but most of the league. They are down now and could be a bottom dweller again but I still hold some hope that it isn't the case. They spent money on QBs but many don't see that as a long term weight and the birds can get out from under that. The DL has potential to be bets in the league while the safeties are certainly NFL quality. CBs and LBs still have something to show. Depth is an issue on D but that happens lots of teams.
The O? guess I don't know. I am not a Bradford guy but I acknowledge he has pedigree and could be great this year but they are hurting everywhere else.
I believe in Wentz although I wasn't a believer in giving up so much. I think the F/O looks at this as a rebuilding year where we try to compete. Hopefully they can do that.
      LOL.

No cap space and no picks. I don't think that's a very good plan there Howie. Of course Jeff had big hand in this too.

I think people are coming to the realization that the girl you bought all those drinks for isn't the one you woke up with and your buddies got the pictures.

Perfect post, ky. You nailed it for me.

Every cloud has a silver lining. In this case, the Birds always perform better under these kinds of circumstances. They can't handle prosperity. If they're favored, if things look good, they will find a way to fail miserably. Hell, at this time last season, they were talking about the Super Bowl. Seriously. There's simply too much wrong with this team, and too much talk of their shortcomings for them not to do well.

Yet I am still here. Cant stop now. Wont stop now. Don't agree with a lot of what has happened recently but I will still watch. No moving on!

That's the problem Rob. Very, very few of us could move on even if we wanted. We're Eagles' fans. It's in our blood and there's no cure.

So when ever I get really down I turn to the Old Philosopher for encouragement...

LOL. You missed the late 60's and most of the 70's EB. Pete Lusk, Dan Reeves, King Hill and the white helmets with green wings. That's where we're heeded again.

I guess it came down to Deon or Johnson for Chip's pick. It turns out that they're both knuckleheads so it didn't patter.

Nothing will change until Lurie sells the team.

He alone is the constant fixture that oversees a front office that is in constant turmoil.

                Keep drinking the Kool-Aid fools.

Yea. I only got sucked into this mess in 1987, so that does kinda make me late to the party. But, in that short amount of time, it does seem to me that if nothing is expected, sort of like right now, the team will overachieve. The moment it appears they are actually capable of winning something, they will underachieve. The one exception to that rule was the year they lost to those pathological cheaters from New England.

Of course, they never win anything regardless.

In that regard you're right EB as I expect them to win 3 or 4 by accident so I guess that they could win 5 or 6 and overachieve. Damn, these friekin guys can't even swallow pills right never mind play football. I give up.

What the hell else are you going to do on Sundays in the winter? It's too cold to play golf up there.

Seriously. WTF Kool-Aid is he talking about?

I wish the hell there was some magical Kool-Aid. We all know the deal on this sad sack franchise.
