  • Remembering Those Who Gave Their All

Today is the day to say thank you to all the men and women who gave their lives defending the US. As Kapernik points out, we have our problems but please take a minute today to honor those who paid the ultimate price for our right to complain.

      Juk,

      Thanks for the reminder.

Every day is a good day to take a just moment to remember those that fell in the flower of their youth serving their country.

      Happy Labor Day!

Labor Day is a day to remember those who strove to make a 40-hour work week, enable child labor laws, and enact Social Security. Things we just take for granted today.

A brief but interesting piece on the history of Labor Day. It might be worth 5 minutes to read it. I certainly found it so.

              Awesome, thanks for posting.

I took a class on this era in college, probably one of the only ones I paid attention to.

What was that movie with Marlin Brando? On the Waterfront? It was brutal.
