Not the best move one could make going into FA. Maybe he and Lane can train together this offseason.

Lane may not be the brightest bulb. But, I would be shocked if he gets his 3rd strike. The guy seems to love the game and his career is on the line.

So glad we didn't trade for him. Folks were saying we should give up a #1 for him. He just lost a ton of money in free agency and there is no chance he gets franchised.
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

Teams might be reluctant to give him a long term deal as well.

get him now for cheap ? Would make a nice piece to run to the playoffs.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I give him 60/40 @ screwing up again. We have no choice to roll with him, but this guy could get sucked through a jet engine on an away game.

Problem is he can't practice with the team. I don't think he can even be at the team facility.
