I don't care if we have 3 first round picks, 2 seconds or any other combination. I know it is a big ask, but no busts and get some difference makers in here. I'd rather have 3 picks and hit it big on all of them than 8 picks and sort through 2 -3 serviceable guys. I get depth is important. but when your starter should be a depth guy, you have problems. Depth guys are much cheaper and easier to find.

No doubt the five is good but teams that want to lock up their players are locking them up early. The fifth year option guys just gives you some room to maneuver if you are not ready to part with them but aren’t in your long term plan.Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy

I was looking at all the talent being predicted in round 2, I know we need difference makers, but we also have really talented coaches who might just coach up some guys if we would end up with 2 firsts and 3 seconds. We need to push about 5 guys onto the practice squad and draft 3-4 for the practice squad. I think we did pretty well last season with all the practice squad DBs. Let's add competition all around. We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Agree. There is a lot of talent in round two. And actually some positions that are deep which aren’t early round positions like TE. We could get a real good TE prospect in round 5 to pair with Goedert and either Jackson or Stoll. Can’t count in Richard Rogers to come in every yearWait until next year is a terrible philosophy
