  • This game is more important now than Dallas was

First of all if we beat NO we can have extra time to heal up a starter for the playoffs. Secondary it would be a big blow to their division aspirations helping our draft situation. I'm so AAMMPPPEEDD for this friekin game I'm shaking as I type this !!

Agree. Go win it big and then rest 3 weeks.

This game could save our season after that masacre we went through on Saturday when our guys were dropping like flies. If we can win Sunday and get the bye there's a chance they might be back for the playoffs. I haven't been this jacked for a game since 1997! I can't even think of going to sleep. I think I need therapy Sean.

...and the Eagles can have a direct impact on that draft pick position with a win against the Saints.

I agree. Its a bigger game than Dallas. Hopefully Hurts is back. I love Minshew as a backup. But, turnovers have always been an issue for him (mostly fumbles). We need a clean game out of our QB.

Between the 20's, I think Minshew is as good as Hurts (maybe). It's in the red zone where Hurts has a big advantage due to his legs.

Also concerned about not having Lane. Zero sacks allowed by him in almost a full season. You can't match that with anyone else.

With a healthy roster, I think they would get mad and whip the Saints this week. But, the injuries have me a bit concerned as well as Gannon's refusal to change his game plan when needed.

It took a extremely hot QB, 4 turnovers (two of where should have been pass interference) and we still were within 19 yards of winning the game in Dallas with our backup QB. Will they paste the Saints this weekend no, will they win Yes and that doesn't matter who is at QB.

Right now if the season ended we would have pick #10. If NO ends up winning their division that puts that number in the 20's. Just win Baby!!

That draft pick was number five two weeks ago but NO isn’t cooperating so it is now pick ten.
there are four teams tied at ten with 6-9 records and two above them at 5-10. Then a couple at 4-11. Don’t think NO can catch them and looking at remaining games NO pick could wind up at 14. Personally I think it will stay right around where it is and we will wind up with pick 11. But hopefully NO goes on a two game losing streak
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
                  Hope is not a strategy

NO is not a halfbad team, and were it not for a miracle Brady comeback they would be in line to win the division. Could always wish for a couple more of their losses, but the pick seems to be turning out well, all things considered. Let’s help ourselves for now and for later on Sunday. I doubt NO rolls over against Carolina in the final game, but it could be a situation where Carolina still has a chance while NO doesn’t. Carolina did beat NO earlier in the year. It all starts Sunday. Hang a loss on NO and the pick gets better, maybe significantly better.

If the pick is 14 its still a win. Before the year we thought it would be a playoff pick. Now if we can beat them this week and even if they win another game at 7-9 they should be in the 12-14 range. right where they can take Nolan Smith DE from Georgia or Joey Porter JR CB from Penn State. Should be able to get an impact defensive player at that spot. This is a pretty deep draft for that part of it.

If they Winn their division I think the pick will be in the 20's because they made the playoffs.

Not having the running QB threat hurt us , mostly Sanders. The read option with Hurts in their is killer to a defense
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

The only reason that we lead the league in rushing is Hurts. He's got close to 1000 yards himself and that opens things up for all the RBs..
