Damn sure didn’t think they would be able to sign Nola. He can be frustrating but he does eat up innings.

Just glad they didn’t throw money at Gray or SnellWe're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. Now we need to get Yamamoto and the starters will be rocking. Sounds like Yamamoto could happen…

Feels like Yamamoto is a target. I don't think that is a Philly media creation. I am hearing him on a broader short list of teams with some of the MLB writers I pay attention to and Philly is definitely in the running. You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

I really hope Walker gets his shit straightened out. After not being used in the playoffs, I could see him opting to cash his checks and do nothing , I would rather he comes back pissed, works hard and becomes a very good #3 or 4 starter on a good teamWe're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable.
