  • Roob’s Observations

Generally a good read. Two things caught my eye. This year Zach Ertz has a chance to move into sixth place all time for catches by a TE. And all of the Eagles last seven wins were by 7 points or less.

I woult think it's the HC's decision what to do as far as whether to go for it on 4th down or not. After that it's up to the OC what play they run.

Today’s game will tell me a lot about this team. Week 4 games aren’t do or die but the birds need to show they can
dominate a team. 7-7 in their last 14 games and haven’t won by more than 7 points.
Birds have injuries but every team has injuries. The leaders - Hurts, Mailata, Graham et al need to motivate on the field while Brown and Johnson need to motivate on the sidelines.

If they pull one out today, it will show that they are ready for the big boys.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.
