    2) did anyone notice Carter and Smith side by side yesterday? It looks like Carter might be smaller than advertised.
    3) Jalen needs to play some this week IMO. 3 weeks is a long time to sit
4)I formally apologize to Becton. He’s a beast
5)The back 7 are exceptional. slay peeked into the backfield and got beat, but for the most part, if Slay is your3rd best CB, you have a pretty good backfield.
    6) anyone who believes there is internal issues with this team, you’re fucking nuts. Everyone is loving on eachother. This is a tight group.
    7) I wish pancakes were a stat, I don’t know how anyone could have more than the Birds.
Washington, Rams, Bengals are playing some good ball
I was really surprised when Pittsburgh let him go. he had a winning record with them. maybe he isn't a star but he's a decent quarterback.
    "Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

Best part about Pickett and McKee neither is a FA next year. Could continue on with them or deal one. I rewatched the game, I thought Pickett was much better than I thought. He was leading down drive after drive. Could certainly start for a bottom 1/3 of the teams in the league. He seemed much more decisive yesterday than I ever saw him in Pittsburgh. Add in the fact he was playing with Broken ribs. Yeah very gutsy performance.

Mckee put enough tape out to get teams intrigued. That is for sure. However are you going to trade him for a 4th or 5th round pick. That is all he is going to fetch at this point. Pickett might get you a 3rd rounder.
The thing is this is not a good QB draft. Not a good year to need to one.
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

Reuben Frank said that everyone who is around the Eagles knows how good McKee is. It’s pretty cool that we have that much depth.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

My goodness Cam Jurgens is good. Long term deal incoming.

Jordan Davis is going to get paid by somebody but it is not going to be the Eagles and that's OK. Carter is the key to the DL. He must be resigned when the time comes. We can plug and play DT/DL alongside him.

Becton is a nice story and they should resign him also. He should be willing to take a bit of a hometown deal though. He made his money. He was crying as he came off the field. I hope he realizes that and signs a fair deal. Don't hold the team hostage.

As crazy as this may sound, I would not be surprised if the Eagles take a DT in the first round of the draft. They are going to lose Williams and eventually Davis. The key to this defense is pressure up the middle. The DL needs more pass rushers as crazy as that may sound.

Baum must also be given a fair deal. Let's hope he sees the implications of leaving for the money and learns from the TJ Edwards move.

It really is remarkable how good Cooper DeJean is. To me, he is the DROTY not Mitchell. DeJean should not be returning punts.... EVER
IMO, the team will try to retain Davis once his 5th year option expires because of his relative effectiveness in his designated role as a space-eating NT. Unless they draft another space-eater, as you suggest. Perhaps Carter's pending deal will be the key to that. That said, why disrupt the team chemistry unless absolutely necessary? That's why I believe they hold onto him. Williams will be more difficult to hold onto, because of his scheme versatility IMO. Williams could be a DE in a 3-4 or a DT in a 4-3. Davis is pretty much built for NT in a 3-4 odd front.

This is interesting. This is indeed a thin draft for QBs. I wonder if the team would consider trading Pickett if enough teams came sniffing around?
