Seattle released him to make cap space. He is a 2019 1st round pick so he has some ability. 130 receptions for 1,400 yards over 3 years isn’t setting the world on fire, so he may be a good candidate for a 1 or 2 year ‘prove it’ deal.

If cheapWe're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. We have room for a one-year prove-it deal. Goeddert misses time, and I’d rather Fant than Calcaterra fill in. If he leaves as FA after the year maybe we get a comp pick down the road. Could also be a Goeddert replacement if the Birds move on from DG.Russian reporters to Bobby Clarke: Can you imagine hockey without fights?
