  • this was a good loss

I'm so sick of the team telling us that we are winning and that's all that matters. We score 0 points after a hot start to one of the worst defenses in the league.

Everyone, but particularly Patulo and the O-line needs to get their heads out of their asses. Maybe we'll hire an offensive consultant who care help design some new plays. There's no way to install a new offense right now but maybe we can add half a dozen plays so we're not so predictable.

This is a Super Bowl caliber team (especially the defense) and we're pissing away the window.

    Hope Blankenship is OK.

Any loss to Dallas is not a good loss for me, especially when they were up 21-0.

Did they deserve to lose ? Absolutely. But, not to those guys.

Dallas is going to find a way into the playoffs. Their defense is much better with 6 starters returning and picking up the stud DT. They could get on a roll and be dangerous.

I hate losing to Dallas too but I’m trying to find the silver lining.

I said this much earlier in the year but our o-line is just not gonna do it. Between injuries and just bad play, we’re cooked.

however, other teams with less oline talent and even less offensive talent are able to run the ball. KP needs to be fired into the sun.

Today they lost because of the penalties and the offensive line was just not very good. . They couldn't get out of their way after they scored the 21 points. Each of the offensive lineman had at least one penalty, all of which stalled drives, both of the WR had penalties which stalled drives. The biggest issue we have right now is when we get behind the sticks the offensive line for the most part doesn't hold up enough time to run 2nd and 20 routes or 3rd and 12 and Hurts is too risk adverse in those situations. You saw Dak today throw it up to PIckens several times even though he was blanketed and he caught it all of the time. Brown and Smith both can do that, Heck Dotson has shown he can do that. Give them a chance, don't sit back there bouncing around and then take a sack without giving a WR a chance to make a play.
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

a lot of that is on Nicks philosophy of protect the ball at all costs. Sometimes you can be too careful. Another word that comes to mind is chickenshit.

Protecting the ball is a very good philosophy to have. However when the game is on the line you have to throw all that out the window.

yeah, that's about it right there. Especially with a division rival, an opponent must be worn out. You scored 21? Go and add 21 more! Don't turtle up!

It is only a good loss if KP gets fired, and Siri is too arrogant to fire him.

If Siri could call plays he would just unofficially demote KP and start calling plays. But Siri is the type of manager who cannot do squat himself. In the business world this is called overhead.

As things stand, Dougie P should be on a plane to Philly as an offensive consultant. Otherwise this year will end badly.

Finally, dumb gets you beat every time. The Jets cut Gibson. Why did we think he would succeed here? Did anyone speak with him after he almost threw away last week’s game?

Losses happen, but this one we could see from a mile away. Awful.

The rams were up 21-0. They kept chucking the fall and now they’ve pretty much put TB away.

I don't think it was Patullo, I think we had about 15 penalties and we couldn't get to Prescott. That about sums it up for me

Not sure it was a good loss but, as I read somewhere else, it was a deserved loss.
Yea penalties were bad. And yea they didn’t get to Prescott. However you don’t score 21 and then sit in your ass and shit the bed. Patullo and Hurts were number one for me.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy

I told 60 before the game that we don’t pressure Dak, look out
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

SF… I don’t think this was a “good” loss but I’ll accept it.

the Birds aren’t going to lose the division unless there is a total collapse and I just don’t see that. Even in the worst scenario this team is going to go 11-6 and that wins the division and might even get the 2 seed. We forget… all these teams are going to start playing each other now.

we are going to lose on more game at best. Probably at Buffalo or at the Chargers. If we finish 13-4 with this schedule that’s pretty good.

we are going to have to win a road playoff game this year but probably not 2. The Rams look good but if we can stay healthy we can beat them.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.
