I'd be all for that if he plays well. But shawn barber played well and bolted for $$. Hopefully this situation will be different.

Heckert did mention one of the advantages of the contract is that they could sign him in the middle of the year.

He's a good kid,but needs to gain alittle ass. In one of those all-star games he exceled at the outside pass rush,but got knocked backwards a bit by LBs when lead blocking. He's very willing to block though. I don't know if you expect much from him right away.Someone needs to get him on the Andy Reid diet.
