To be fair, the holdout was largely not his fault....the Bengals were offering him LESS than the pick BEHIND him in the draft...no self-respecting player or person would accept such blatant disrespect and idiocy from their employer. The Bengals are an absolute disgrace. The injury is bad luck and not anything Smith could prevent or forsee...tough start to a career, but hardly "red flags" on the guy IMV

That's because the guy behind him was Bay and Al Davis paid him like he was the number 1 pick in the draft. That money also screwd up the Crabtree kid too.
