Eagles Sign Four To Practice Squad
The Eagles announced on Sunday that they have signed wide receiver Danny Amendola, tight end Rob Myers and guards Mike Gibson and Paul Fanaika to the practice squad. There are four more open spots and the Eagles will announce those additions on Monday when the team reconvenes for a 10-10-10 practice.

    More details to come.

j leman, former Illinois LB who was among final cuts in Carolina, added to practice squad. carolina has deep LB corps, so this was a good place to go to find an LB.

sounds like real fan favorite potential if he can get on the field:

Don't kid yourself Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd kill you and everyone you cared about!

Here's the rest of the practice squad, including Jake the Snake:

Eagles Add Four To Practice Squad

The Eagles finished off their practice squad, adding three players who played with them throughout the preseason and signing linebacker Jeremy Leman, who was with Carolina throughout the preseason.

Joining Leman on the practice squad are fullback Marcus Mailei, saety Reshard Langford and cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu.

The 6-2, 240-pound Leman was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as a rookie free agent in 2008, but was released by the Vikings prior to the start of the regular season. He signed with the Panthers during the 2009 off-season and saw action in all four preseason games, registering 19 tackles.

A native of Champaign, IL, Leman was a four-year starter at Illinois and finished his collegiate career with 407 tackles and 8.5 sacks. He earned first-team All-America honors following his senior season in 2007.

That gives the Eagles eight players on the practice squad. Players can be dropped or added at any time, as long as the numbers of players on the practice squad does not exceed eight. Players can also be signed off the practice squad and added to another team's 53-man roster.

I hope this isn't another 5 year venture to find a MLB.

Bradley is only out for this year, I think they just need to find the stop gap MB for this year. Our defense is very suspect right now but we are fairly deep at DE and CB still. Losing Bradley, dawkins and JJ really has a destabilizing effect, at least from my perpesctive. We lost on the filed leadership with Bradley & Dawkins and then the steady hand and defensive mind of Johnson to manipulate the pices and parts is lost.

Do you think Mcdermott is on the hotseat a little or will he be given a little slack considering the circumstances? He certainly has his work cut out for himself. It's kind of a no win situation for him. If he takes this defense and excels he won't get the full credit for the job but if the defense stumbles he'll get toasted.

This has got to be Marvin Lewis's last year with the bengals, he was a much better DC than a HC. Maybe we make a move in the offseason to grab him should he be out in cincy? The Ravens defense first came to prominence under his coaching I believe.

No slack. As is often said, NFL stands for Not For Long.

And the Ravens defense has continued to be a force long after Lewis left, so maybe it was something else. Lewis's defenses in Cincinnati have been consistently awful.
