Not to be over dramatic, but the Eagles season might hinge on his MRI tomorrow.

we are fine without him. i think cole might be a better center. just needs to snap the ball a little harder. You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

Jackson is a very good C...read the article in the Inky from yesterday about how his teammates etc. feel about him
He gets overlooked alot, but has been instrumental in helping the young guys and manages the OL during games well...when he went out yesterday, it was pretty evident the OL took a step backEliminate distractions, create energy, fear nothing, and attack everything.

That is what I fear but if this is the case, I really have to question the training staff. Jackson was on the sidelines with a knee brace and tested out the knee on the sidelines and couldn't continue. I can't fathom if they had a question as to the integrity of the ACL that they would have come close to attempting this. Seems extremely out of character for them.

I agree, the problem is not Cole but having to play that turd MJGDon't kid yourself Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd kill you and everyone you cared about!

I like Cole, I think he is a good young player. But as a former center myself, I know it's hard to just step into that role. It's more than just physical talent that is necessary. You have to know what everyone on the line is supposed to be doing. You set the protections. If the center is unable to communicate effectively, you get what you saw in the 2nd half yesterday.Originally posted by Leonard Tose View PostI agree, the problem is not Cole but having to play that turd MJG
Ummm, did you even watch the game yesterday? The whole offense fell apart.Originally posted by andrewaters View Postwe are fine without him. i think cole might be a better center. just needs to snap the ball a little harder.
Where are you hearing this? All I've heard is a minor knee sprain and that there has been no MRI as of yet.Originally posted by ekravitz View Postword is a torn miniscus and maybe a torn ACLWhatcha Gonna Do Brother, When the Eagles run wild on you?

Jackson went down in the 1Q I believe and we really moved the ball up until McNabb's INT in the early 3rd and then we went into the funk. the only issue i had with Cole is he snaps it too slowly. You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

Jamaal Jackson out for season
Eagles center Jamaal Jackson is out for the season with a knee injury.
“Injuries - Jamaal Jackson has ACL tear and he’ll be out the remaining part of the season," Andy Reid said in his Monday news conference. "He had an MRI this morning."
Reid was asked how big of a loss not having Jackson will be: "He's a good football player. We're fortunate that we have Nick [Cole] here who is a center. He's on the same page as Donovan [McNabb] with the snap counts and everything."Official Driver of the Eagles Bandwagon!!!
