Somebody on our board referrered me to George R R Martin's "Song of Fire and Ice" series years ago...can't remember whom...but I must say THANK YOU!
Anyway, for anyone that has enjoyed the series as much as I did, I just wanted to make you aware that HBO has not ony picked up the rights to the series (old news), but it has been given the greenlight and they are to start filming in June. And the cast is going to kick friggin ass! This is set to be the largest, most expensive production ever.
I had considered dumping HBO......ummmm, no.
If you haven't read the series, get it. Read it now before this thing starts.
