  • Road Warriors?

The Birds are undefeated on the road and 0 and 2 at home. Weird.

we almost always play better when we are backed into a corner or another stadium
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

Our two losses are also the two games where our starting QB went out.

I don't care if the Niners are 0-5, that was a legit road win last night. The 49ers are desperate for win #1, were at home and have some real talent on the team. It was a tough assignment for Kolb and he came through.

I think this is the week we get a W at home. Although the Falcons are 4-1 they really haven't looked that good. Another full week of Kolb at #1 in practice ( I'm guessing) and more time for Andy to figure out the O-line "situation" and I like our chances. Matt Ryan has a "homecoming" and he hasn't played that well either. Still alot of questions on that Atlanta Team = a good week to pick The Birds.
Just give me ONE before I go!

Abrahams should have a field day with Dunlop, and that's just 1 match up. Turner has been moving the chains again. I think that we're in trouble.

That's a big part of the O-line "situation" I'm talking about Popper. If Andy says "we'll be fine there" with Dunlap he's frickin delusional. Either put Howard or Herremans at LT or give Dunlap help (another TE on that side).
The Birds held Turner in check last time but the guy that can do some real damage is Roddy White especially if Assante's still out. I expect Samuel to play (concussion) but if he can't go I'll take Patterson over Hanson.
I'm not putting any money down on the Birds so that assures them a W on Sunday,LOL.

I just think that we're too banged up to have a realistic shot. These guys know how to win unlike SF who just find ways to lose. Our coaches just gave SF chance after chance to win but they refused to do it. No such luck this week.
