Another thing I just realized..... Howard is now DE-ACTIVE, and Wells is ACTIVE for the first time in ages? Why would THAT have changed? Especially with Winston Justice out, and King Dunlap being the starter. That's bizarre. Obviously Herremans would have to slide out to Tackle if we had an injury, and then Wells or Cole would come in to play. You'd think that would be Cole, though, so, again, why suddenly deactivate Howard and activate Wells?
Can't take credit for noticing this one, but also just read that 5 WR's are active for the first time in a while. Cooper and Hall are both active tonight. Te'o-Nesheim is inactive for the first time since Week 10.
Does being active have anything to do with being vested as far as service time ?
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.
