  • Let the verbal BJ of the Pack begin

EVERYONE AND I DO MEAN EVERYONE.

Thinks the Packers are going to beat the Eagles Sunday afternoon. Aaron Rodgers is a Hall of Fae QB and Greg Jennings is Jerry Rice. Clay Matthews is "White Zeus" and cannot be blocked by anyone. Charles Woodson is the crafty veteran who will not be outran, outblocked or outfoxed. Mike McCarthy is the best coach since Lombardi.

Don't you know the Eagles were lucky to get to the playoffs in the first place. I mean, seriously they got lucky against the Giants laid an egg against the Vikings and then lost their last game of the season against the Cowboys.

They can't protect Vick. They can't run the ball or stop the run. Their corners are terrible and they are so banged up even with a week off.

Quite simply, the Packers are going to shock the world and win 3 straight road games and go to the Super Bowl.

You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

I'll admit it...I felt all of that when we lost to the Vikes and the Pack destroyed a Giants team that we needed a miracle to beat.

but time does change and this morning I was thinking how well the Eagles typically respond when they are being discounted. This all could be good for them. Right now nobody is picking them. I mean nobody!

How about we go on a revenge tour?

Beat the Pack to revenge the opening game loss
Beat the Bears with Asante back and revenge the earlier season loss
Host an NFC Championship game against the Saints and revenge them bumping us out a few years ago

stuff that in the media's pipe and let them smoke on that!

how the hell did I forget that? Yes, beat the Pats with Asante picking Brady and taking it to the house to seal the deal

I think I'd have a boner for a full year if all of that happened

If only there was a blue pill I could take to make all of that reality

I fully agree. We are at our best when everyone thinks we stand no chance.

The only thing missing right now is Brian Dawkins in the locker room

Thank Favre that Favre no longer plays for the Pack........

I was thinking the same thing Dawk. Even in our best years (except 2005) it seemed to be win three games and lay an egg. I think that we'll at least have a good showing Sunday. GB is excellent, but it's not like they dominated the Bears yesterday in a must win situation.

Come on people, I coined a term for this: favrelatio!

The fact that the Eagles are only 2.5 pt favs tells you where everyone's head is at.

it all depends on #7 IMO. If we have early season ,can't do any wrong Vick we are in good shape. If we have the guy who threw a handfull of picks and laid the ball on the ground constantly we might be chatting about draft picks next week.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

The only team I feared meeting in the playoffs was the Vigiants because of the last two games we played against them. I think they would have attacked Vick flagrantly and taken the penalties and fines to ensure a win and regain some dignity. With them out of the playoffs my only fear is that Vick goes to Atlanta and puts in a super star performance to take us to Dallas.... and then has a let down game coming after the Atlanta "home coming". The Pats are going to be hard to beat as it is... (am I looking too far ahead? )

I'm still not sure who we are.......but I have an impression. And that impression doesn't give me a world of confidence going into this game vs the Pack. Vick is gonna have to put the cape back on to get this one done.

IF they actually try to run the ball, Vick won't have to be super human. Between McCoy & Harrison, that should be 25-30 touches. Harrison should get 5 or so carries. Do that, the passing game opens up. Oh well, it was a nice dream.

Hey, the Pack look good. I admit it. But, they did indeed lose to the Lions a few weeks ago and they've lost to the Redskins and the Dolphins (at home) earlier in the season. And those were with Aaron Rodgers at QB. And they didn't look like world beaters yesterday at home vs a vanilla Bears gameplan.

So, they're definitely beatable. The Eagles will likely have their work cut out for them, but they're beatable.
