  • Vick pointing to the Scoreboard

    was that really necessary?

maybe not a big deal, but it did seem like the thug in him coming out for a minute. Especially after the pregame interview in which he said he has learned to turn the other cheek and walk away.

probably mountain out of molehill, but it did bother me

As I mentioned earlier, I frigging loved it. The guy was getting hate, after he had just gotten injured. Love the fire. Screw it, the "swagger".

Agreed. We need a little "ghetto, junk yard dog" in our players. Remember, the target is going to be on our backs anyway after this past offseason. And Vick is going to always be a target...he made himself one.

What Vick did was nothing different than what I have seen and heard from players like A Rodgers, Elway, Brady do. Just because he is a QB doesn't mean he can't fire back.

We were killing them at that point.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

If we play Atlanta in the playoffs - we will hand it to them and shove it down their throats. I expected a loss last night. Sucks we pretty much owned them for much of the night and lost - but oh well.

The guy had a concussion at the time, so can't really hold anything against him. Not that that would have bothered me anyway.

I liked it. Fuck those bandwagon fairweather Falcons fans. The only problem with it was that we lost in the end.

Yeah, I had no problem with it. If THAT'S all it takes to be a "thug," then half the NFL is thugs. He was getting booed from play 1, and they cheered when he got hurt. (Which I thought only us dirty Philly fans did?) F them.

He was spot on. He didn't goad them other than a slight bit of pointing, assuming the asshat collingsworth was right that it was the scoreboard he was drawing attention to.

He entered this game with complete class and left I think with class.

Now if he was simply walking off the field after the game and reacted that way to boos, it would have been better to just let it go. But since they were booing him and cheering his injury, I agree with what he did.

It's possible he was just pointing at some Vick fans in the stands wearing his jersey.

                  But no problem either way.

I guess the Falcons got the last laugh when they could point to the board after the game.

Come to think of it, we don't even know he was pointing at the scoreboard. He was pointing up at the stands.

Just because Collinsworth says it doesn't mean it's what happened.

well, it certainly is better than the middle finger gesture he is famous for

I personally just don't think you should ever get involved in anything with the fans

no good can come from it at all

I thought is was a dickhead move. There's no reason for it - especially since we were up by a whole 3 points at the time.

No. Kafka came in and got the last TD.
