  • Cap Space as of 6/23/12

The Eagles STILL have the 3rd most cap space with $18M remaining according to PFT. What are they going to do with all of that????

Roll it over to next year when they are going to need it -- they are already at $137 million for next year (per eaglescap.com). Granted, you figure they will need to choose between Demetress Bell and Jason Peters, which would drop the number to about $127 million, but that may still be above the projected (normal) cap. I also don't think that number includes Fletcher Cox, nor Atogwe.

Agree especially with DRC as right now we can probably get them signed on the cheap compared to what it will take if they turn out good years here.

Tough to put a value on DRC. He hasn't really done muchhere yet, and the word is that he can be nonchalant at times.

Agreed. Maclin and drc. Possibly give money to either kelce or watkins if they continue to improve.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

as young as this team is, they are going to need to be smart with the cash ,there are a lot of contracts to be wrangled in upcoming seasons.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

They are also going to likely have to pay another QB pretty soon....Vick's deal includes a get-out clause after this season and if he performs poorly, I think they ramp up their search while also developing Foles
