Per Cole, the meeting occurred “a few days after Vick publicly suggested he might be benched,” and it was “extremely productive.” Cole reports that Reid decided he “might have lost his players psychologically” if Vick had been benched.

Someone please tell me ... if Reid loses the locker room for benching Vick, exactly how much worse can the Eagles play? I swear these players are too coddled. We might be better off "losing" some of the locker room if it's losing guys like Babin.

How can players not look at Vick and see he is costing them games. This makes no sense. I think it may be the other way around. Reid would have lost the locker room if he did nothing.

Vick is the leader of the team. His teammates idolize him. To them, it's like benching Babe Ruth. After the pitiful display by the defense last week, how could Vick get blamed for anything? The timing just isn't right for it anyway.

It's not that Vick is costing them games, it's that Nick Foles would be completely throwing in the towel.

They will lose with Vick. They will lose if they bench Vick. The bottom line here is that the team is simply not a good team. They are what they are. They're an 8-8 team that does not belong in the playoffs.

It's over, folks. Doesn't matter who plays QB. Outside of a few select players, they can flush the entire operation as far as I'm concerned.

Not at all. Seriously, they're not going anywhere. It doesn't matter if Reid loses the lockeroom or not.

I hate to see it end like this. I really do. I don't dislike Andy Reid, and would have much preferred the storybook ending, and finally winning the hardware. But, the team stinks.

Time to clean house.

I'm with you BP. It sucks to realize that the Andy era is ending but it's clear that it's time for a change.
