  • Prepare for Annoying Week

Get ready for all time highs of hype and media blather this week....Reid is coming back with his Chiefs and McNabb is having his number retired...coming off a loss and the Chiefs being 2-0 just add to the churn as the hand wringing, whining and conspiracy theories begin in the Kelly era.

Using one of my favorites from last week that Kelly reined in the offense in the 2nd half vs WASH in order to avoid putting more of his playbook on film, we may hear this week Kelly wanted a reality check loss vs the Chargers so the team would be focused for the Chiefs on a short week and other such nonsense...

Good news is Cataldi and the other hacks at WIP may finally blow gaskets and have to retire from the air...

I'm looking forward to the game as it should be a good one, but this will be one annoying week...avoid the radio and TV sports outlets and you'll be much happier!

I haven't listened to Philly sportsradio in years. It is just terrible. I'll simply choose to ignore the web stories and to turn off eskin and the like at night. My expectations for this year are low. Beating AR is a nice snack but but losing to them means nothing to me. This defense needs help through FA, draft and coaching.

No national sports shows for me this week either! You just know they're going to be filled with snide remarks about the Kelly Revolution gone bust already!

For a diversion, I go to either Extremeskins or BigBlueInteractive and read about mass suicides and infant sacrifices. Extremeskins is the funniest because, as is there habit, they were so delusionally optimistic all preseason.

Cataldi has gathered up a bunch of used #5 jerseys for this week and they are handing them out to the homeless and bums around Philly to wear for Donovan's homecoming. LOL! Couldn't resist getting in one more shot!

Really? This is his way of trying to beat down McNabb further? What a classless lout. Cataldi was wrong then, he is wrong now. McNabb, warts and all, was simply a better player than Ricky Williams ever was in the NFL. Cataldi, like a 10 year old, is doing something wrong/annoying to get attention even though it is negative attention. What a sad man.

It is sad, but the guy is a low brow marketing specialist who knows his audience unfortunately...

Tino - you're dead right on the national media too, they will all turn tail on Kelly just as quickly as they were lovefesting him last week.

If it's any consolation it's a short week.

Cataldi has always needed someone to hit him in the face with a shovel. again.

It's not even going to be safe to watch the pre-game this week. Someone let me know when kickoff happens.
