  • Inside Training Camp - Houston Texans

They are on right now. It got me to thinking.....that team may not be the pushover that we and the media seem to think. We play them week one. While I do think we will win......I'm not sure it will be that easy.

There is some talent and depth on that O-Line now. Adding Flanagan at center will help alot. McKinney and Weigert aren't bad...and they have drafted a ton of O-Lineman in the first three rounds of the last few years.

Putzier and Moulds will help the offense

Their D will likely still struggle. Adding Williams should help the D-Line and the secondary though. It will be interesting to see how Philip[ Buchanan does.

    Thoughts on the Texans?

If by that you mean 'have drafted only two first-day offensive linemen since 2003, both in the third round', then I agree.

Kubiak is a very good coach and will turn that team around. I'm glad we get to play them early.

I was just in Vegas for a few days and was shocked to see the Week 1 line listed as Eagles -3.5. I thought that was ridiculously low.

IMO those lines-makers generally know what they're doing, but I just can't see how the Eagles even let them score, let alone win by only 3 points. I think our Defense is going to outscore their offense all by itself.

Last time the Eagles played the Texans they didn't cover. Of course, they were 20-point favorites...

I guess some were drafted more like 4 years ago. Wand, Pitts, Winston, Weary, Spencer. Wand and Pitts being starters. Though I think Spencer gets in there immediately
