Remember this guy?

Who could forget the magic Culley worked with Bird receivers. He could take a young, inexperienced guy with raw talent but little in the way of refined skills and turn him into an older, experienced guy with no skills and no future.

As far as Detroit's OC, 'he'll be fine there'.

I remember laughing at the Giants hiring Spagnuolo given the "magic" job he had done with our linebackers, as well. He may well turn out to be no good, but you never know -- he could be better as an OC than a position coach. Very different job.
