Should be a good one at noon today guys. Enjoy!
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I don't mind if Canada wins. I hate Sidney Crosby but overall I always root for a canadian team to win the cup once the Flyers get eliminated.
I like Canada and I like most of the scores of Canadians I know. IMO, the average Canadian is better informed and better educated than the average American. And sadly, the gap seems to be increasing.
The only Canadian I know that I really despise is Sidney. And virtually all of the older Canadian men I know (they all follow hockey) don't like Crosby either. They think he's a flopper and a cry baby and are offended when he is compared with the great Canadian players from the past.
I'll root just as hard for Canada to win the Gold as I would for the US if we were still in it.

And really, why not? There would be no NHL if it weren't for Canada. When I grew up I don't think there was one American in the whole league!
