  • 5 Eagle Pro Bowlers

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Congrats to them. I would have like to see Cox get some love there but he plays a tough position with lots of good players
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
    Hope is not a strategy

It used to mean a lot to me when I was a kid to see our guys make the pro bowl. Now with free agency I'd rather not see them make it. If they do make it they cost more to keep, or more teams want them and you lose them in a bidding war.

Fletcher Cox is probably the most deserving of Pro Bowl recognition on the Eagles roster this year, and he doesn't make the list! Oh well, who wants to be coached by Michael Irvin anyway???!!!!

            Cox got screwed

            somehow that sounded wrong LOL

Funny that what we all think was a great year from Maclin, is not PB worthy. And it isn't. WR numbers are so ridiculous these days. 7 guys had more yards than him. 11 had more catches.

crazy how much the sport we grew up with has changed

Mac played great this year. He came up with many clutch plays. But he's not a Beast, and we need one.

Don't know if anyone watched the reactions from the players on PE.com about the pro bowl snubs, but these guys were pretty upset about it. None moreso than Mychal Kendricks. Good Lord, you would think someone shot his dog.

                Really???? Get over it.

I would say the whole board has been in agreement here MD. Nobody ever said that Jackson's talent would be missed. Only that we might be better off without him. The book is still out on that one I believe.
