Who ends up on the Practice Squad??????

I don't think Ramsey or Bloom last on the practice squad - Ramsey because of his performance and Bloom because of his potential. Iggs may be able to stash Bloom on IR, but Ramsey would have to make the team.

I agree on Ramsey. No way does he last on the practice squad. Some team would snatch him up quick. I also think Bloom ends up on the IR. I don't know if he'd last on the PS either.

Ramsey, no way. He's good enough to be the 4th DT right now. He'd get bumped to 5th because we're so deep, but there's absolutely no reason to keep Jasper over Ramsey. Cole seems a pretty likely candidate. Bloom appears headed to IR. Jason Davis will be a practice squadder unless he goes on IR as well. Calvin Armstrong and Scott Young might still be PS eligible. Torrance Daniels seems likely, and we might see a QB pickup after other teams have made their cuts.

Ramsey to the PS ? That is crazy. Same for Bloom, he has to be IR'ed.

If the Eagles are so deep on the DL that they have to put Ramsey on the PS, then I bet they will look at trading away some of that talent instead to fill in the obvious weak spots.

Chang,Davis, Cole on the PS. I think Ramsey has shown enough to the Eagles and the teams they have played so far that he shouldn't be on the practice squad. If he went there he would be picked up quickly.I feel he has shown enough to beat out Jasper.Bloom to IR.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Remember if a team plucks a guy off the PS they have to keep him on the 53 man active roster.

Just a reminder for when you are doing you PS lineup!

I agree on Ramsey though, even with the above caveat, based on what he has put on tape so far this spring.

Screw whether or not some other team would grab him - he belongs on the 53 man because he's good enough! What's already-retired-once Ed Jasper done to earn a job over Ramsey? They've always carried 5 DT's, and by my count, there are four guys better than Ramsey on the roster. Simple math puts him on the team, any injury puts him on the field.

I've heard Denver is looking for a DT and I wouldn't mind dealing one of our DTs along with a pick for Lelie.

You need to take up your displeasure with Reuben Frank he is the one suggesting that Ramsey will be on the PS -- I fully agree with you and the other guys in thinking that he will not see the PS.

No displeasure, I'm just saying that the decision on where to put Ramsey is already made before even thinking about whether he'd make it to the practice squad. Still, if Reuben Frank wants to step outside, let's do it!

LaJuan Ramsey will NOT last on the PS.

He'd be in New York or Washington before the ink dried on his waiver papers. The Jints and Skins DTs suck.

If they have to cut Ed Jasper, they better cut Ed Jasper.

Although I'd still prefer to see them use Rayburn as trade bait to get Lelie or another WR.
