This wonderful world we live in needs a major flush to dump a huge pile of shit that makes up about a third of it's population.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.
Of course there are, as there are in every walk of life. But the cops get painted with a broad brush by the "contingent of the entitled" and the leeches of society.
What happened to the guy on the bike in Baltimore was just plain wrong Zep. I have a ton of respect for cops but there are some bad ones too.
Don't know about that just yet.... have to wait and see what the evidence really is.... but nobody should have to die while in custody.....BUT ---- most of these people are repeat offenders. And had they never broken the law before they more than likely would still be alive.
While not saying it's right at all --- they sort of put themselves in the situation that it COULD happen.
As for the guy here in Balto.... I have seen his rap sheet... and it's a long one and again he didn't deserve to die, he put himself in the position for the possibility of it happening.

Just me.
Hey, I think that way too. But it's also pretty clear that they broke his leg before he got to the van as his legs were dangling. It's some kind of technique they do to a suspect bending his legs backwards. I know that you're more familiar with the case than I am because you live there. And I know that the cops are more less in combat, but that video is brutal.
What hasn't been said is that during the chase Freddie Gray ran off a second story terrace. What hasn't been said was that the initial coroners report was changed when the mayors office put the pressure on during meeting because the van theory fit as a possibility to the initial report.
We don't have an accurate account of what happened because this has turned into a political master piece.
