The Rose Bowl is apparently one of 5 venues in the LA area that NFL
considers potentially suitable to serve as a 'Temporary Home' for any
team that might move to the area until a permanent new stadium is ready.
To that end, the five venues were asked by the NFL to submit 'proposals' in
order that the most desirable of the 5 might be granted the privilege of being a
temporary NFL stadium.
To their everlasting credit, the Rose Bowl Operating Co. held a vote last night
on submitting the requested proposal. The vote was 11-0 in favor
of essentially telling Goodell he could go fuck himself...they weren't interested.
