  • It's Dallas week!!

And the game got even bigger after the Monday mess. If there is such a thing as a must win in September this is it. The season is already on the line folks. So let me be the first to say...........

    Fuck Dallas!!!
    "Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

If the Eagles can improve their secondary and their pass rush, they will be fine. If not, then it could be a VERY long year. They HAVE TO put more pressure on Romo than they put on Ryan.

Cowboys trade for Raiders WR Brice Butler ahead of Eagles game:

        http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...r-brice-butler

Despite the relative lack of production, this is a worthwhile flier for a Cowboys team with little depth behind Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley.
Butler is an intriguing size/speed prospect at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds with 4.37 wheels. Scouts and beat writers have raved about his potential on the practice field.

For all that promise, why has Butler been buried by two different coaching staffs in Oakland?
Bay Area News Group's Jerry McDonald suggested during the offseason that he has simply made too many mental errors.
If that's the knock on Butler, it's fair to wonder if he will be up to speed on Scott Linehan's playbook in time to make a dramatic impact before Bryant returns to game action.
Hmm. No way he learns their offense that quickly. Maybe they try him on fly patterns to try to clear out underneath for Beasley and Williams?

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

The Dallas Cowboys will be without star wide receiver when the team plays the Philadelphia Eagles today on Sunday, Sept. 20. The Cowboys also might be without Bryant when the two teams play again later this season. According to a report from NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Bryant could miss more time than originally expected.
"Bryant, who broke a small bone in his foot late during the opening win over the Giants, actually needed a bone graft during the surgery that took place last Monday, according to sources informed of his procedure. So instead of a four-to-six week recovery as the team had hoped, Bryant faces a 10-12 week timeframe."
The Eagles next play the Cowboys in Dallas on on Sunday, Nov. 8. That date is only seven weeks from today, so one would figure Bryant won't be back in time for that game.
Dallas losing one of their best players for an extended period of time obviously bodes well for Philadelphia.
