  • The Dallas love...never ending

I know were done with them this year and were looking to Miami but just want to vent/laugh/make fun while it's still fresh.........The Dallas love, It's still out there. Got home from work, turned on the tv yesterday to one of the espn channels and they had Trent Dilfer on. At first it was just the same ol, same ol. But then near the end of his segment he said that it wouldn't surprise him at all if Dallas runs the table once Romo gets back....WTF?!?!?!

First, their schedule is pretty tough. But second, and most importantly, and something I never hear anyone say, especially the Dallas lovers, if the Dallas 'TEAM' was soooo good the way the media hypes them, don't you think they would have pulled out a couple of games even without Romo? That's what good teams do. I'm not downplaying Romos importance. He's obviously huge for them. But with supposedly the best OL in football and a supposedly much improved defense, decent RB, Dez, Witten etc, if the rest of the team is that good, you should be able to survive and win a couple of games during a stretch your QB is out.

Maybe though, Dallas as a whole, just isn't as good as the Dallas lovers think they are. And I love it!

BTW..now the Dallas fans are whinging because of the coin toss in overtime I love seeing the frontrunner Dallas fans disappear. Jerseys back in the closests until next September. Dem Boyz

While I am happy that order has been restored to the universe via a Dallas loss, I kinda hope that they win a few more going forward. Not enough to reach the postseason, mind you. Just enough to be deluded into thinking that the roster just needs tweaking. That might serve to mire them in mediocrity even longer!

They still have Carolina and Green Bay once Romo is back.
It might not matter much because with Sean Lee and others out, they will have a tough time with Tampa Bay.

I hated it when Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth were discussing Dallas's chances for reaching the playoffs and referred to the Eagles as "THESE GUYS."

"They have to get past THESE GUYS."

Fuck You, Al Michaels! The Eagles are not "THESE GUYS."

Now, if he had referred to Dallas as "THESE GIRLS," it would have made sense and I wouldn't be so mad.

I don't know that it is all room. They lost Dez for a time, the RB went out and they lost another to stupidity. Team or not, nobody on the offensive roster for was a concern without a running game, Dez or a QB to throw the ball. Cassell looked as good as Bradford last week after a few weeks with the team and we are all talking about how good Bradford seems to be acclimating after 4 months.

Collingsworth pointed out how shaky Sam and Murray still look on handoffs. They're slow learners I guess. That was the fastest the offense moved all year though so some of it is falling into place.

Sam has really only played 1 year in the last 3

They do look weird on hand-offs. There are times Sam holds for an uncomfortably long time, as if he's running the read option...which fools no one because they clearly have no plans for Sam to keep it. I don't know if that's even their intention, but it looks odd, and often gives me the feeling that something bad could potentially happen on the exchange.

IMO, Dallas is not as bad as their 6 straight losses appear and not as good as everyone thinks they will be with Romo back. That Cowboy team that we beat Sunday night was not much worse than they will be with Romo IMO. Dez looks just fine. Sean Lee will hurt if he misses any significant time.

I question their team chemistry, especially with Hardy on it.

I think Dallas could go 5 and 2 with Romo. But, they are not going to run the table. Most likely they go 4 and 3.

What some of these guys don't understand is that Dallas could be 1-7 right now. Romo only played 1 full game and the Giants gave that game away due to Eli's stupidity. So, Dallas should really be 0-1 with Romo.

What I really want is total chaos in Dallas to make Jerry Jones look like the buffoon that he is. I want to see Greg Hardy attack another player or coach. I want to see Dez flip out and throw things. It's Karma.

7-9 for all NFC east teams other than us I hope.

Won't make the playoffs but don't have a high draft pick.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

They could have won every game that they lost too. They are very talented. They are capable of running the table if they get their shit together, but fortunately almost every year they don't for one reason or another!
