    Crazy question out of left field - would any of you entertain him as the 3rd QB instead of Detmer? I know the answer is "of course" but you all would say "of course" if I suggested my Great Aunt as well. I'm assuming Timmy Chang is on the PS and if someone entices him out of that spot - fine.

    Henson on the other hand is still only 26, he's a big body with a strong arm and he has experience in the league yet he's in a position to be humble and learn the WCO. My theory is to have a guy like Henson learn the system, battle Garcia for the #2 next year while drafting a young QB to groom.

    Plus learning any dirt on the Cowboys system can't hurt.

    Actually, I'd rather see the Phils sign him and try him out at 3B at SWB, see maybe if he could become rejuvinated in baseball after "flopping" at football.

          It has been established that he can't.

          His last full season at AAA he posted a .703 OPS while hitting .234.

            Steve I wouldn't want him anywhere near this team. Frankly i think the only thing he does is screw us up. I hate Detmer and want him gone - like yesterday! But I have less faith in Henson than I do in Detmer. Let's bring in a young guy to groom instead of a project tht takes coaching time away from the better players. Henson has as much talent as his name sake Muppets!

              I thought this guy was The Future in Dallas. Is he now about to be trade or waiver fodder after all that? Granted, the delusionals down there thought Chad Hutchinson was the next Tom Brady, but still.

              I agree that the Phils could use him even more than the Eagles, sadly.
