  • RIP Dallas Green

passed away at the age of 82. Thanks for that Championship !
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Yes he gave a championship and did a good job in the scouting/minor league arena if I recall. RIP and thanks
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
          Hope is not a strategy
          RIP

I think he wasn't liked by the guys who didn't play the "right" way

He had a hard time adjusting to younger players and their culture which included weed. When you have a star player whose nickname was "Bake" you can understand why. He still won a championship with them though when he could keep them straight.

He was old school, and did clash with some of the younger guys......... But he knew Baseball. He cared about the game. RIP

He was an "Old School" kind of guy & the older I get, I don't see anything wrong with that. Thanks for the Ring in 1980 & R.I.P. Dallas Green.
