    cool stuff

We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

Man I love watching film. The play that I missed earlier was that screen play to Ajaiyi and the great job by Wiz. I saw the Kelce block but didn't realize how Wiz quickly blocked 2 guys. The impressive part was how Ajaiy was just patient enough to let him set things up before blowing around the interference. What a huge play. His run and Agholor's run were really our 2 biggest gainers on the day. I hope that Doug has a couple other tricks up his sleeve this week? We held them out of the endzone after Atlanta's one drive of 18 yards after a fumble and really pretty much had them stopped on that one too except for a savvy play by Ryan got them in. Keenum is a little like that too.

Ajayi went down pretty easy after that long run. I think he anticipated more contact than what he got and went down. I think he could have scored on that play if he kept running hard.

Take a look again. It's kind of a weak arm tackle that brings him down. When I see #36 I can't help thing of Westbrook, who would have stiff armed that guy to the ground and kept going.

Ajayi had really quick feet Saturday, I really wish that punt fumble didn't happen, we were ready to crush them IMO

I think that the guy coming in at his legs had something to do with it. Plus he tried to stiff arm him but his arm got swatted.

You're right, the next guy probably would have gotten him anyway but I'd love to have seen him finish off that run a little stronger.

He gets a lot of yards after contact spur. I'm just glad that he held onto the ball. His ball security is definitely a problem and has to improve or he's gone IMO. You simply can't play a fumbler. 3 fumbles in 71 carries sucks and he's got to clean that up.

that fumble wasn't one for me to dwell on. That was a perfect hit on an arm being pulled into the only position it could be knocked out. I'm more inclined to give defensive credit on that play

As opposed to Blount's who didn't want the ball? What running back doesn't want the ball when it's handed to him???? You usually have to yank it back out of their hands on a fake. Unreal.

No excuse for not getting it right at home. I could understand it on the road when you can't hear but Nick didn't kill a single play Saturday so I don't think that was the problem. Just a brain fart I guess but you simply can't have that.
