Tiki Barber > Brian Westbrook

I like Westbrook and what he brings to the Eagles, but if I had to pick who is better I would say Tiki. I would break it down like this. Tiki is a better runner than Westbrook. Westbrook is a better receiver out of the backfield than Barber. The difference is that Barber is more of a better runner than Westbrook than Westbrook is a better receiver out of the backfield than Barber. The only RBs I can think of off the top of my head who are better than Tiki as a receiver out of the backfield are Tomlinson, Westbrook, and based off of college footage Reggie Bush. Tiki is a top 5 RB out of the backfield. Tiki is also a top 10 RB as far as just running the football where as Westbrook is somewhere in the high teens or around 20.

Tiki is better than Westbrook for the sole fact that he stays on the field a long time. Westbrook breaks down too frequently.

Tiki = Workhorse
Westbrook = Sprinter Horse

Tiki is also a better Running back. However - there are few RB's in the past decade that have shown a greater ability to be a receiver and thrive than #36. He's sensational as a Receiver.

I wander what Tiki could do as a reciever moving all over the place in Andy's offense.....

IMO Andy is one of the best if not the best in the league at working the matchups for his RBs and TEs in the passing game.

agreed that Tiki is better than Westbrook.

however, i'd take McNabb over Eli in a heartbeat.

Stallworth/Brown/GLewis is a wash against Toomer/Burress/Carter. Carter is a very erratic player, and Toomer is aging.

i'd probably take shockey over l.j. smith.

i'd take the Eagle offensive line over the jint o-line, though the jint o-line is solid.

i'd take the Eagle d-line, but only because the jint defensive tackles suck. few teams can match up to the Eagles in terms of the quality and depth of their defensive ends, except for the giants.

pierce and trotter are a wash, but then i'd take the jint backers.

both secondaries have questions, but the eagles secondary is better.

eagle coaching staff is better.

each team has one significant injury.

these teams are very closely matched.

Tiki is a bit better than Wesbrook, but that's no knock on Brian. Tiki is probably the best player they've got.

If it's possible to play in New York and be underrated, Tiki has accomplished it. He's a great player and a class guy who i'd take on the Eagles in a heartbeat.

I think the light bulb did go off this summer, but Tiki wouldn't provide Westy with a replacement. Can't blame Westy for trying. Someone needs to find Tiki's trainer and pay him for a year's sservice just to give up Tiki's program. Then give it to Westy.

Can't believe with all the money it cost to run this team, nobody found a way to buy this information. Seriously.

BTW, I also agree that it is strange how good Tiki is yet he does not get the pub of a very good back. It must be a combination of his lack of size and attitude.
