  • Packers fire McCarthy

Rodgers was apparently instrumental in Fat Mike's firing. I'm no fan of McCarthy but to kick him to the curb during the season seems needlessly harsh to me. I suppose that losing at home to a truly awful Arizona team doesn't sit well with the Cheese Head's totally undeserved sense of superiority.

Nice to see Captain Kirk lose today as well. I look for a little pleasure anywhere I can find it in this miserable season.

    Fuck 'em all!

LeRogers is the LeBron of football. Now he's calling all of the shots too. I love it! McCarthy might have a new job by next week.

Last week I was wondering how it would play out. Guess I know.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
      Hope is not a strategy
      RIP

Cleveland would be lucky to have Mike. Can you imagine what he could do with draft picks AND money. Rogers has them hamstrung for years to come, it will take a genius to run that franchise with that contract in place. They've had injuries at an Eaglesque rate this year. They aren't winning shit. We will find out soon enough when our QB gets paid.
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I’m hoping Wentz and Lurie work out some side deal like Brady and Kraft have. Lurie could donate huge money to AO1 or something like that.

McCarthy actually has to feel good about it. He gets a jump on the the coaching searches. Plus that jerk Rodgers now has to take the blame for crap going on as well. Cincinnati would probably be a good spot for McCarthy.
