  • Top 25 all time QBs

    Kind of a fun list:

Some bad QBs on that list. Since 2000 we’ve been pretty good at the QB position. Kolb and Bradford excluded. Though we did get a nice return in trading each of them.

Yeah right. It’s strange seeing a “top 25” QB list that includes a few guys who were basically career backups.

It's also what is wrong with the HOF, in most major sports now a days--- been watered down.

Way watered down. Very good players are going in. I always thought it was to be the best to ever play the game. No more.

Don't be too hard on the guy MD as there probably have only been about 35 legitimate starters in Eagle history anyway. Unfortunately we had to live through most of the stiffs. About the only ones not mentioned that I can think of are Pete Liske, King Hill and Jack Concannon. You younger guys don't know how lucky you are not to have lived through those years. It's hard to believe Bubby Brister even made it. Oh, I almost forgot that stiff Reaves who set the college passing record at Miami and we used our first pick (#14) of the draft on him. You can add him to the mess too.

well it damn sure isn't the winning record. you can complete 100% but if the average is 2 yards you don't give your team a chance to win
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy

I went onto pro football reference, and if you do a search for any one particular team and sort the QBs by the number of games started....well, 25 players is a long list. It becomes a short walk from the “great and near great,” to the “good,” then “okay,” and the “who the heck is that guy?” players

Put it this way: if you had a similar list for the Giants it’d probably include Kurt Warner (even though he did nothing for them), Jeff Rutledge and Joe Pisarcik.

Hoying and Sanchez made the list for Christ sakes. Who was #26 ? Some RB who threw 2 passes in his lifetime ?

Was Koy’s brother Ty Detmer on there? Maybe he was #26. Or maybe Brad Goebel.

Hell mm I knew the list was bogus the minute I saw that Sudfeld wasn't on there

Joe Pisarcik might have won a game or two for us around 1980 as a backup. I know that he played a little anyway. I think the Giants cut him and we were so thankful for the fumble that put us in the playoffs that Vermeil gave him a job afterwards lol! He really wasn't that bad but he sure was famous.
