  • DJ coming back ?

Hmmm. I have mixed emotions about this.

I think I would be good with it. If he had stayed in Philly I think he could have been a problem but who knows. At this point I think he really does want to play for a winner and he still can get down field and catch balls. If he and Wentz, and I will throw in Alshon here, can have chemistry it could prove to be formidable. I would also say though that I wouldn't give more than a late 6th or 7th for him.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
    Hope is not a strategy
    RIP

I don't think they bring him back at 10 mill a year plus giving up a draft pick.

My guess is they resign Jordan Mathews and Mike Wallace and then draft a receiver in round 2
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

He was sorta railroaded out of town here with all the gang crap, that it turned out was just mostly hyperbole. While most WR's are pot stirring primadonnas... he was never THAT bad. Saying that I question his future level of talent.

I don’t want Wallace back. I’m not so sure DJ has much left in the tank. We do need some deep speed, not sure who the answer is.

Rumor is he is coming back. I just think 10 mill is too much per year for him. He is 32yrs old. I would rather go with Mike Wallace, Jordan Mathews and a draft pick (plus the extra left over cap money) than have him at 10 million

He better be damn near free
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

At 10 mil a year I would like the prima donna who stays on the field though
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

I don't trust him. He was bitching all lat year that he wasn't getting the ball enough and that they were throwing the ball to Evans instead (why not, he's a great receiver). Find us a guy who can keep his mouth shut and is a team player like Jeffrey is.

                    My concerns:

                    * His bitching could hurt our great team chemistry (like 60 said).
                    * I am not sure we can afford 10ml a year for a speedy WR.
                    * Injury history. I think he has only had 2 injury free seasons.

Why I would want him back:

                    * He wants to play here.
                    * The guy KILLS us every time and he still has that crazy speed.
                    * Talent wise, I am not sure we could do better for the price.

10 mil is too high IMO but whatever. They aren't crying cap anymore. 60, I hear you and agree with last year but I think he may play nice if he gets a ball here and there if the team is going places. As they say winning makes everything a lot easier to swallow

Eskin tweets that he hears that Jackson already agreed to a 3yr deal with the Eagles. So are they trading for him? What is the dollars?

Lets see where this all lands, if they get him at something cap wise around 5 million and keep Agholor they are going to be tough to defend. Especially if they can add a decent running back.

Like Pliny said, he kills us. Take away the games that he plays against us and he's an average receiver LOL!!!!

My only problem is that he is so injury prone.
