no the entire game and this was against a defense that was missing all sorts of players and has had problems stopping the run. But its not coaching its all execution :roll eyes:

Versus 38 pass attempts plus 5 McNabb scrambles.
That's almost a record low running attempts for a Reid team.
BTW, two of the runs were on 3rd & long, Marty was apparently trying to mix it up today.

On the O-line, on the D-Line, in RB VS tackler and blocker Vs tackler-- one player is beating the other-------------and right now everyone is beating our guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We come out and average 4.3 yard per carry on the ground and only 4.2 ypp but yet we call only 15 running players. Thats the players fault

We are going up against a team that is really banged up, in the front 4 and has had trouble stopping the run but is very good against the pass. We throw the ball 38 times and run it 15. But its all the players fault

We run out the dime defense on 1st and 20 late in the game knowing full well that they were going to run the ball, but thats the players fault because they let the Jags get a 1st down out of that. They didn't execute a piss poor defensive call.

MD I agree the players did not execute today and they have not executed well for a few weeks but to say its all the players fault is really short sighted. It all starts with coaching and these guys are not being coached well right now. Notice I did not call for anyone to get fired.

Let me be clear-- 100% clear--- AS I have said since day one--- It's about 75 to 80% ON the players and their execution-------good or bad!!!!!

Sure, poor coaching is the cause of this team leading the league in drops!

Sure, poor coaching led to Mcnabbs boneheaded pass to LJ and his 2 picks last week.

Sure, poor coaching was at play in Mac-Doo-Gal getting a 30 yard penalty.

Sure, poor coaching is to blame for the O-lineman getting beat one on one.

Sure, they don't teach proper tackling, that's why they missed all those tackles today.

Of course it's not ALL (100%) on the players, but IMO, it's about 80% on their one on one failures.

Yet all many people want to harp on is the 20%. The real important mistake happens when Brown drops a ball -- not the play call. Or when Tra blows a block and Mcnabb goes down. Or when Westy fumbles on his own side of the fifty. Or when a runner blows by 3 possible tacklers, not the D-play that was called. Or when I see our LB's getting blown off a play by a O-Tackle or guard-- that wasn't the play call.

AND those ARE the things that really cause the losses....the important things.

Sure can Reid and the staff do a better job???? You betcha !!

Are Reid and the coaches "mostly" responsible for these 4 losses? Absolutely not! But if you read these boards you would think that it was so.

So if you want to try and push that 20% up the ladder and make it MORE important than the player failures-------- well, IMO that is burying your head in the sand.

Are there problems on this team? YUP.

Let's see would those problems be solved best if the coaches coached better OR the players played better????? Hmmmmmmmmmm.

It's not even a close call IMO. And never has been!!!!! Even with some bad play calls and too many passes and not having a timeout here or there ----- IF the players played better those problems would melt away like butter. Because they aren't the root cause of those 4 losses, the players are.

Now that's just IMHO--- so I'll understand if your sarcastic baits continue. My "opinion" on this subject has been out there for 7 years now, and I've defended it many a time, from many a poster. IMO, it's easy to sit back and criticize when things go wrong.... my position is there winning or losing!
