It'll be closer to 6 weeks - probably 8.
And Osi won't be back anytime soon, either.
Tuck *might* be available for next Sunday's game, but I doubt it.
They're also banged up at LB (Arrington done & Short hurt) & CB (Madison & Walker both missed yesterday's game).
Their D is really banged up. And their WRs are too.

#2 WR Amani could barely walk, but played.
#3 WR David Tyree was hurt and couldn't get onto the field.
#4 WR Tim Carter played (but is generally ineffective)
#5 WR Michael Jennings played (but has no idea what he's doing)
#6 WR Sinorice Moss is hurt (and will go on IR this week)
They're very banged up at WR. But they've got Shockey, who was very involved yesterday, and of course Tiki. While Tampa shut Tiki down relatively well I just don't think teams can take him away that easily. I think the key to slowing Tiki down is to figure out where he keeps his battery pack. I seriously think he's not human.

It's kind of sad......everything is lining up real nice in the NFC,
w/ St. Louis, Minnesota and Dallas all losing, they're 4-4, as is Carolina....you look at the injuries to the Giants and all of a sudden Rex Grossman looking pretty average....Being 4-4 right now isn't so bad, things are really opening up.....but ultimately, from what we've seen so far this year, the Eagles can't run and they can't stop the run, so regardless how well Mcnabb plays and how teams line up nicely for us, the achilles heel of the running game(on both sides of the ball) will probably be our undoing!!!

If what the Eagles have been is "relatively healthy", what would you call "not really healthy at all"? Would the team plane need to crash?

Or is it half full?
I can't understand how you can take the fact that just about the entire NFC is pedestrian and there's no team out of reach of the Eagles and somehow turn it into a negative. The Eagles can't do this and the Eagles can't do that, yet they're right there with everyone. They're there with the team that can do the things you mention. Carolina - run & stop the run. Minnesota - run & stop the run (#1 run D, right?). Dallas - run & stop the run. How many of those teams have a better record then those Eagles that can't run and can't stop the run? How many guesses do you need?
The Eagles aren't perfect like all these other teams that everyone loves to point to, yet they have the same record. Fans of the other teams look at the Eagles and say things like "McNabb can win games on his own" or "Westbrook is unbelievable" yet we're perfectly willing to focus on the negatives. It's crazy talk.
Are there things the Eagles need to do better to get where they want to go? Of course. Are the Eagles different than any other team in the NFC in this regard?
No.

I really think that the NFC East could turn out to be a complete mess before this thing is over. I like both the Eagles and Cowboys better than the Giants. Dallas is 1-3 in the division, which will hurt.
There is still a real opportunity here for the Eagles. But, they are going to have to start kicking some but.
Could there be three 9-7 NFC East teams at the end ? It would not surprise me.
Washington still has an outside shot if they win this WE. The Eagles simply MUST beat the Redskins.
