Not a smart IMO,gotta think that Marty M had alot to do with this.How can Garcia lead this club when nobody will even room with this guy on the road? Ought to be a short leash on Jeff if he stumbles early.

When he first came into the game last week I was hoping it was just rust and the surprise of being called upon but I saw the happy feet and panicky look of what a rookie would look like in his first NFL game. I hope that's all it was. I don't necessarily agree with this but I also saw how horrible Feeley looked with Miami last season. Maybe a calm methodical well protected Garcia gives us a more experienced QB at the helm. This would signify to me that the eagles really do still feel that the season is in play. After all how many pro bowls has Feeley gone to?

I said yesterday, Garcia wil start. if he is stinking up the joint AJ will take over in teh second half. Pretty much what I expected. Not what I WANTED, but what I expected. Marty's preference, I'm sure, plus Reid's tendencies towards greater experience.

Every passing play he never sits and reads...he just rolls right out.

I understand that its partly due to him being so short, but at least try to read before rolling out, maybe?

I would have bet $1,000 that Garcia would start this week. I think AJ gives us our best shot at winning but when Garcia was signed (before AJ was available) he was brought in with the understanding that he would start if McNabb got hurt. Now AJ is on the team and even if Reid wanted to start him I think he would honor his promise to Garcia and at least give him a chance as a starter. I think Andy believes in signing character guys and that means being a character guy. Honoring your word is rule #1.

Having said that I hope they have a quick hook if he stinks up the joint again this week. AJ is the guy I want to see but I respect Andy for the move nonetheless.
