Wow, lots of teams have turmoil. Or maybe lots of teams are normal and we fall for all the bull shit spewed by the media.

Exactly why I posted these links. To bring things into perspective.

I don't care to compare to OTHER crap teams and their problems. I'd rather compare this team to SUCCESSFUL Eagles teams.

Notice that the mouthy moron is much tougher to accept when your team is losing. Maybe WIP could write stuff this bad.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 29 -- It was just another day in the middle of a free fall. The coach was his customary terse self. The tight end had issued his customary statement belittling the week's opponent. And the quarterback was taking his customary beating in the papers and on the radio, at the point now that even his body language is grist for front-porch psychologists.

There was a not-so-flattering article aabout the Redskins by ESPN"s Tom Friend ... nasty stuff said by players about Greg Williams. Sorry don't know how to post a link.

From Domowitch, in the Daily News:

"... Vikings coach Brad Childress benched struggling wide receiver Troy Williamson this week and has replaced him with Marcus Robinson . Williamson has 11 dropped passes. Said Childress: "He's a first-round draft pick, the seventh pick in the [2005] draft. You've got to be able to catch the football." Something to keep in mind, Reggie Brown. And Greg Lewis. And Donté Stallworth. And Hank Baskett."

                            Headline----

                            "Reeling Redskins awash in troubles"

This can't be,,, they do it the right way. They open up their check books and sign the most prominent FA's that will fit into spots of need on their team.

And they do it every year--- so obviously that writer just has an axe to grind.

Sounds like you could just alter the title: "Reeling EAGLES awash in troubles"

                              Is this Eckel?
