    apologize if already posted...

"That's the No. 1 city," New York Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce said yesterday. "I love that city. Brotherly love. They boo you. They flip you off. They moon you. They do everything to make you want to play football over there. Being an opponent of them, it's a great place to play. It's a great atmosphere. There's nothing like going to someone else's backyard and having no chance of winning."

I watched Pierce's interview with the local media last night. All he said was how the Eagles were better than the Giants and how he hoped the Giants would just be able to give them a game. If was so phony and even the reporters didn't think much of it. No one really questioned him about it because everyone knew he was being facetious. F him and the rest of the Giants!
      I miss Philly!

i wouldnt mind signing pierce to replace trotter in a year or two, i think he brings a lot of intensity and leadership.

he's one guy on that giant team i wouldn't mind having over here. i know he talks a lot, but he brings it.
Don't kid yourself Jimmy. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd kill you and everyone you cared about!

I liked how that spunk junkie talked about how he was better than Trotter because he can cover guys better and how he covered TO the week prior in the DAL game. And then Pierce proceeded to go out and get smoked by LJ Smith in coverage and he was directly responsible for Westbrook's long TD run.

          F that bum.

The Linc is gonna be NUTS on Sunday.

He also looked foolish on the field against us 3 weeks ago. He missed tackles, gaps and everything in between. PASS.

trotter doesn't look so good either when the defense is becoming unglued around him. i like pierce.

LT - what I'm saying is that he isn't a significant upgrade over Trot and you say "a year or two" when he'll be 29 or 30. I'd rather go with youth.

didnt realize he was that old, but it makes sense as he was in Washington before.

getting harder to find those downhill, traditional MLB's. always struck me that pierce is a guy who could step into the JJ scheme and give us some of what Trott has provided.
