  • I expect another barnburner Sunday

The first game went into overtime, and the second one had the Giants ahead of us twice in the fourth quarter. It looks like another one that goes down to the wire. Fasten your seatbelts!!
    "Hey Giants, who's your Daddy?"

Not this time 60, Eagles blow them out of the building. Giants will quit at the first sign of adversity, we've seen their act for years now.

Everything about me tends to agree with this, and it honestly would not surprise me to see the Giants pull off an upset. But then, there's one thing that sticks out in my mind .

      The Eagles offensive line.

The might be the best offensive line the Eagles have ever had. They have shown something, and that's the ability to take over the game. I can see our O-line just mauling, and destroying the Giants defensive front.

They are really settling in as a unit. Jackson and Herremans are both really stepping up, Andrews is awesome, and our tackles have both had solid seasons. You know they like the emphasis on the run game too. They totally destroyed NY and Dallas, and I think they'll destroy NY again. They're that good. Look for them to smash the Giants up front.

Level of agreement,........completely off the charts! These guys are not your typical Iggles line. You know, give the QB some protection while you ask him to perform a miracle. They give great protection and lead the running game just the way you would draw it up. The difference is in how they do it. They destroy opposing linemen, linebackers etc. They have got to lead the league in pancakes, cartwheels and downright devastation. They have given the Vagiants increasing doses of it and I am sure it is playing in their heads. Now they have the attention and respect of all the Talking Heads and the Jaworskis, Vermeils, Walshs et al. They are still getting better and better. The next step up comes Sunday. People can talk about Garcia, Westbrook, Dawkins all-pros all in my book. But above that level come the OLine. The best I've seen here in 58 years of Eagle fandom.

That is just an excellent quote!
"Philly fans are great....It's the only place where you pull up on the bus and you've got the grandfather, the grandmother, the kids and the grandkids - everybody flicking you off. At other stadiums, they give you the thumbs-down. Here, they give you the middle finger.”
          — Michael Strahan

"No one likes us, no one likes us, no one likes us, we don’t care, we’re from Philly, F—-ing Philly, No one likes us, we don’t care!”

my only concern is if the Eagles at any point get down by more than one score. I shudder to think that the running game would go out the window in that scenario

take the lead or stay close and we win in the end
